Happiness Practice - May 25, 2018
It's time for what's making us happy this week!
On Monday, Megan & I crushed the Grouse Grind, and I've been happy and proud about it since! I had never done it before, and I'm really glad we did! It was a really fun morning and I feel strong and capable and excited about having crushed it. We also went to see the bears and eat a beaver tail - I definitely should have taken a photo of the beaver tail! It's been making me happy all week, and I'm looking forward to trying it again - and maybe working to improve my time!
This week, I also read A Room of One's Own, by Virgina Woolf, and I was really impressed with it. It's incredible how nearly a hundred years later, so much of what she's saying still rings true. In general, I have found that I really enjoy writers - and especially women writers - of a certain era, and I think I'm going to make more of an effort to read through them.
